The 2019 model of Amazon Fire 10 tablet supports up to 512 GB of expandable microSD memory (up to 200 GB). Wi-Fi is also “improved” on this tablet, and despite the second antenna that maintains better signals, the speed and quality of the signals do not change, whether you hold the tablet vertically or horizontally.
None of the above are bad updates, though they are not special changes (unless you, like me, are obsessed with charging your devices). Simply put; If you have Fire HD 10 in 2017, you will not lose much by not upgrading it to the 2019 model.

2017 or 2019 model? This is the problem!

The bigger and more important issue is that Fire HD 10 tablets are still not very fast and sometimes even slow. It is true that compared to the 2017 model, the processor of the new model is 30% faster, but this 30% is on the processor of an economical tablet, and you will still encounter a slow tablet at the end of the day, which can sometimes bother you.
In principle, when you are in the environment of an application, the speed is good, also scrolling the pages and finding a video to watch is done at a relatively good speed, but the main problem is opening applications and running applications is slow.
Switching between apps is slow. Slowness of speed when changing parent profiles and limited children’s versions is clearly visible. Of course, this slowness is natural and predictable. We all know that the hardware used in this tablet is economical and we should not expect Fire HD 10 to be able to run the latest and greatest games and you can use it as a replacement for the tablet.
