Gold-plated PCB
To increase oxidation resistance and signal transmission stability, use industrial-grade wide temperature range passive components and a 30″ gold-plated PCB. The whole DDR43200 module series has completed industrial verification tests aimed at high/low temperature and the most severe 48-hour Thermal cycle test to guarantee that it can function over long periods of time in harsh conditions.
Power management
In terms of power management, DDR5 outperforms previous generations of DDR. A power management IC (PMIC) is built into DDR5 modules to regulate the load on the system while also increasing signal integrity and compatibility. DDR5 modules only require 1.1V, resulting in substantial power savings and less heat emission. Intel’s 12th-generation Alder Lake mobile CPUs will be fully supported by Apacer’s new industrial DDR5 SODIMM. It will be available in 16 and 32GB sizes, and full manufacturing is scheduled to begin in 2022.
