Apple Inc. was founded on April 1, 1977. An American technology company that often focuses on the development and production of technology and offers, manufactures or sells its products in several countries except the home country.

 The company was originally named Apple Computer Inc. and was founded in Cupertino, California in the Silicon Valley region of the United States. Silicon Valley Silicon Valley is a suburb of California; The presence of many world-renowned IT companies  made the region famous.

Apple is known for producing new hardware products such as iPad, iMac, MacBook, iPod, iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Air Pads. It also manufactures iTunes, iLife, iWork and Mac OS software that runs exclusively on Macintosh computers.

Apple CEO and Founder Steven Paul Jobs has been an entrepreneur, inventor and one of the leading figures in the computer industry. One month before his death on October 5, 2011, Steve Jobs resigned as Apple CEO and Timothy Donald Cook took over as CEO. Steve Jobs co-founded Apple co-founder Steven Wozniak, nicknamed The Woz, American computer engineer, inventor and scientist, and Ronald Gerald Wayne in 1976.

Less than two weeks after the company was founded, Wayne sold his shares to Jobs and Wozniak. Jobs and Wozniak wanted to develop the world’s first personal computer; Their work led to a revolution in the computer industry and a change in the face of technology.

Apple was founded in 1977 by Wozniak, 26, and his elementary school classmate Jobs, 21, in the Jobs family garage. The company officially entered the technology market with the introduction of the Apple I personal computer, a computer that is built in a way that is suitable for personal use in terms of size, capability and price.

Priced at $ 666.66 – Wozniak enjoyed repeating numbers – the Apple I, which produced about 200 units, quickly gained credibility in the computer industry. Wozniak designed and built this computer with a keyboard similar to a typewriter and the ability to connect to a conventional television as a screen. Apple I had a 1 MHz processor and 4 KB of memory.

Then in 1977, Apple introduced another type of Apple II personal computer with color display and programming capabilities in BASIC. In 1977, Steve Jobs took over as CEO of Apple.

The company was trying to find its place in a market that was increasingly controlled by Microsoft and its partners. The company launched the Apple III in 1980. The Apple III, a commercially-optimized Apple II series computer, was set to compete with the growing threat of IBM and Microsoft, a multinational US technology company; However, due to shortcomings in the design of this model of personal computer, it did not meet with success in the market and Apple was forced to return this model of computers to the company.

In 1983, Apple Lisa – also known as Lisa – became a powerful personal computer with a mouse and operating system with a graphical user interface (GUI) – a kind of user interface with a set of graphic symbols such as icons, buttons, menus.

And was designed in which the user uses command prompts to interact with electronic devices instead of typing long and complex commands. A year later, in 1984, the Macintosh operating system was designed for professional users. In September 1989, Jobs left Apple over a management dispute and founded Next.

In September 1989, Apple designed, built, and sold the Macintosh Portable. The company then launched the PowerBook, a portable, lightweight, portable laptop.

In 1991, the notebook was able to make a big profit for Apple; This profitability is so brilliant in Apple‘s working days that it is referred to as the “golden age”. Then the PowerBook 100 was designed and built by Apple.

The computer was universally acclaimed and in 2006 was introduced as the tenth largest tool in the world of all time. In the 1990s, Apple expanded its product line to market a variety of products.

IPhone

But the biggest victory for Apple and the tech world was the introduction of the iPhone. The company launched the iPhone in 2007 in the United States. It was a revolution in the mobile phone industry.

When the product was launched, customers lined up to buy it. Features of this modern smartphone, 3.5-inch display, touch user interface, touch keyboard, internet connection, 2-megapixel camera, ambient light sensor and storage capacity of 4, 8 and 16 GB, which was presented in a smart and simple design.

Apple has increased its access to the consumer electronics market with the release of the iPhone. In 2017, the company sold 223 million iPhones, making it the best-selling product of the year.

Apple TV

On march 25, 2019, Apple announced its Apple TV Plus streaming service called Apple TV Plus at the Steve Jobs Hall with famous actors and directors such as Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and others.

Streaming media is a service by which a multimedia file – such as a movie, video, animation, etc. – is put together for better message delivery – is sent by the content sender, and the content receiver sends all the content without the need of download, can view it; That is, the content is sent as a stream.

Apple is a giant and perhaps the most famous name in the computer industry. In 2017, for the tenth consecutive year, the company was named the most acclaimed IT company in the world. In 2018, the tech giant became the first American company with a stock value of more than one trillion dollars.
