LENOVO Yoga 9I, sounds like a winner

The $ 1,299.99-plus 14-inch Yoga 9i, a successor to the Yoga C940, is a convertible laptop capable in about every area that matters, with a comfortable keyboard and  acceptable battery life for Yoga 9I users. However, there is one area where audio is much ahead of the competition.

LENOVO Yoga 9I, a terrific entertainment and multimedia machine

There is, in fact, a 14-inch laptop with excellent audio. While it doesn’t quite match the HP Specter x360 and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus in every way, the Yoga 9’s revolutionary speaker design keeps it in the premium mix as a terrific entertainment and multimedia machine for Yoga 9I users.

The Yoga 9’s revolutionary speaker design, the unique speaker system

On the bottom, there are two downward facing woofers. The unique tweeters are contained in a spinning soundbar that is built into the laptop’s hinge, which is the 9is’s secret. Regardless of whether the laptop is in clamshell, tablet, or tent mode, the grids are always facing outward due to the positioning. This is the finest sound from a laptop of this size I’ve ever heard. Its volume fills more than a room and its deep bass sounds fantastic in all directions. The surround sound is very excellent.

Cosidering the Yoga 9’s revolutionary speaker design, the speakers embedded into the hinge provide terrific sound and are constantly in front of you, no matter how you use the 9i. Even the flashy logo is unfortunately always visible. The speaker in the hinge faces outward when the Yoga 9i, a convertible laptop, is switched to tablet mode.

The Dolby Atmos Speaker System software comes preloaded on the 9i, allowing Yoga 9I users to switch between presets for movies, music, gaming, and voice, as well as custom profiles and a dynamic mode that recognizes content and adapts audio accordingly.

The Yoga 9’s revolutionary speaker design is the key differences, with the Music mode allowing the voice to be heard more clearly.

The 9i sports a gorgeous 1080p touch display with realistic detail and color to complement the sound

You’d have no trouble watching YouTube movies and videos on it, and the included Dolby Vision software allows you to adjust between picture modes (Dark, Light, and Vivid). The screen, on the other hand, is quite glossy, and it reflected a lot of light in brighter settings.

The chassis’ stylus in the garage

Stylus in the garage can be a headache to get in and out of, but this one was simple to remove. A new elastomer tip on the stylus should imitate the feel of a pen on paper. This is a good description of how it feels in practice, but it also implies that writing and drawing with other touchscreen methods is more difficult. (It’s also a fraction of the size of most genuine pens.) In the Lenovo Pen Settings software, there are two (quite little) buttons that can be assigned to various activities: delete, left click, copy, paste, anything you like. You can also check the pen’s battery here. On a 15-minute charge, Lenovo claims it can last 40 minutes.

When writing on the screen, the 9i includes a new stylus that looks more like a pen on paper. On the back of the laptop, he lives in a garage.

The rest of this frame doesn’t have anything to say

The backlit keyboard is adequate and spacious, however it is a little flatter than my preferred models. The tablet appears to be solid and well-made, but it lacks the slick professionalism of the Specter x360 14 or the Surface Pro 7 Plus. It’s not the lightest laptop on the market, but at 3.02 pounds, it’s still manageable. And, for such a small laptop, the port variety is as fantastic as you’d expect.

The Yoga 9i, a convertible laptop, costs $ 1,299.99 ($ 1,449.99 in our testing). A Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8 GB of RAM (soldered), and 256 GB of storage are included in the base model (PCIe SSD). This model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, as well as an Intel Core i7-1185G7 (the best chip for thin and light laptops).

Two dual-array microphones are also included in the 9i. Not only for video calls, but also for Amazon Alexa, which is pre-installed on the Yoga. Yoga 9I users can not only provide Alexa voice instructions, but they can also enable Amazon’s Show Mode, which transforms Yoga’s home screen into the home screen of an Echo smart display.

If you’re looking for a convertible laptop and the Specter is out of your price range, or if fantastic audio and a garage stylus are high priorities for you, the 9i is one to consider.
