Which is the No 1 phone in world 2021?

Looking at the evolution of Samsung smartphones over the past several years, the name of the Galaxy S series is more tied to the success of this company than any other title; To the extent that Samsung’s latest technological advances in a variety of areas, from appearance and design to hardware and processing features and camera-related developments, we can probably say that Galaxy S21 Ultra in the number one phone in 2021.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

Last year, Samsung ‘s new S21 family was renamed the Galaxy S21 5G , Galaxy S21 + 5G and Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G , with the most important distinguishing feature (at least in appearance) being the different shape of the camera lens on the back (or, according to Samsung, the Contour Cut Camera Design) lies; This design, which was repeated according to the features and number of cameras in all three phones in this series, shows Samsung’s focus on the camera issue in this series, and although the S21 and S21 + are practically the same specifications of the S20 and S20 + cameras.

They used it last year, but at least in the Ultra model, we come across a different and respectable collection. The flattening of the screen in the S21 and S21 + and the use of plastic in the back of the S21 are another part of the differences between the two models and their counterparts from last year. On the other hand, the S21 Ultra, as a big flagship, does not lag behind in almost any field and offers features worthy of the Samsung name and brand.

Box of Samsung Galaxy S21

The compact S21 Ultra‌ box reminds us more of the Apple iPhone 12 family box , where by removing the charger it has practically lost its meaning of unboxing and the contents of the box; If, like Samsung’s previous Galaxy Ss’, you expect to see a lot of accessories in this box, we should not disappoint you, because with this model, not only is there a charger, but also a headset and a flexible transparent frame.

This approach, which Apple attributed to environmental reasons, and which other companies, including Xiaomi and now Samsung , have joined after the initial grin, does not make much sense in practice because it imposes another cost on users to purchase the charger separately. With the usual trend of these years, which is to charge the battery as soon as possible. However, it seems that the only accessory offered for the S21 Ultra belongs to its USB cable, and all other items, including the headset (which for the first time does not have a place in the contents box of a Galaxy S phone), have been omitted.

Appearance design

The first encounter with the S21 Ultra ‌ has the same feel as last year’s S20 Ultra , and here we find two layers of glass on the back and front and a promising metal chassis in the center. The glass cover on both the back and the front of the phone is made of Gorilla Glass Victus , which is considered to be the strongest glass produced by Corning Company in this level. A new and completely positive point is the opacity of the glass part of the back of the device, which, unlike the S20 Ultra, is resistant to fingerprints, and especially in the silver version, it gives this model a double effect.

The edges of the glass cover on both sides of the screen and the rear are curved like last year, but the curvature is less, especially on the back cover than on the S20 Ultra, giving more space to the chassis.  The most important distinguishing feature of the S21 Ultra in design is undoubtedly the very large and prominent area of the camera on the back, which is repeated in other members of the S21 series, but the example in the Ultra is much larger and more prominent.

This area, like the S20 Ultra, is about 2 mm from the floor of the phone, and its large size and prominence make it more advanced than the S21 Ultra, an advanced camera with Android operating system and call ability. The design of this frame is such that from a distance it looks integrated with the chassis around the phone, but a certain distance between the two can be seen up close, and their separation can be clearly seen.

The top and bottom of the screen have a very small margin, and the punch selfie camera can be seen in the center of the screen as before. In the peripheral components of the phone, we see one or two obvious changes compared to last year, the most important of which is the transfer of the SIM card port from top to bottom.

With less curvature of the back cover, more space is provided for the perimeter strip of the device, and thus there is no need to install more space around the power keys and change the volume (as we saw in the S20 Ultra) and use a smoother and simpler design in this area.

The power button, which is intended to access Bixby by default when the phone is turned on, is somewhat under the fingers of both hands, but like last year’s experience, access to the volume buttons to move the phone or use it second-hand seems mandatory.

From the design point of view, except for the usual negative points of this class, such as high dimensions and overweight, the S21 Ultra still looks like an advanced and modern phone, which is accompanied by positive changes compared to the S20 Ultra. The shape of the camera lens on the back has given this model a striking appearance, but the excessive protrusion and its large dimensions seem a bit heterogeneous in the device set. This phone, like other members of the S21 series with the IP68 standard, is resistant to dust and immersion in clear water with a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Fingerprint sensor

While to date almost all major smartphone manufacturers have used optical or optical technology for in-screen fingerprint sensors, Samsung continues to insist on using its audio or ultrasonic type. Samsung has used Qualcomm’s new generation of ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the S21 Ultra , which was barely a month after its official introduction in the first half of last January. New features of this sensor include a 77% increase in area and receiving 1.7 times more information than the surface of the finger.

Main cameras

Although today’s flagship phones with advanced processors, bulky memory, modern operating system and quality screen play the role of a small pocket computer, it is still possible to use the term Camera Phone for some smartphones based on their powerful camera set. This is certainly true of the S21 Ultra as well, and just a look at the gigantic dimensions of the cameras on the back of the phone is enough to confirm it. The S21 Ultra set of cameras and sensors can be divided into two pillars at a glance. Laser autofocus with LED flash and a 10-megapixel second telephoto camera with a field of view equal to 3x optical zoom.

Battery

The S21 Ultra is equipped with a massive 5,000 mAh battery, which, although apparently no different in capacity from the S20 Ultra , reduces power consumption in the hardware components of this model, especially in the now smaller screen and new technology for Reduces power consumption, promising higher battery life for the S21 Ultra. This screen, of course, from another point of view, now has a refresh rate of 120 Hz at WQHD + main resolution .On paper, it may require more energy, but due to the cleverness of the screen refresh rate depending on the content, there is practically not much to worry about.

Changing the processor lithography from 7 to 5 nanometers also plays a big role in improving these conditions. The battery of this phone, according to Samsung, will be enough for use during a full day, even on the 5G network, and there is no need to recharge it during the day. Of course, these conditions are not measured in laboratory environments and scenarios of normal life, but in the real world, we encountered very good conditions and actually achieved a better result compared to the S20 Ultra.
